Pricing and Information

Lessons are available online for students anywhere.
In-person lessons are also available in downtown Hopkins, MN and locally in your home.

Lesson times are available 7 days a week, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Lesson rates are based on 30-minute units, but most students get the best results from 60-minute lessons. Each lesson includes time for warm-up and summary, so a 60-minute lesson gives you more than double the actual working and learning time. A full hour allows time for focused work, questions, application, and a clear plan for what to practice next.

30-minute lessons:
Single lesson: $60
4-lesson plan: $55 per lesson ($220 total)
8-lesson plan: $52.50 per lesson ($420 total)
12-lesson plan: $50 per lesson ($600 total)

60-minute lessons:
Single lesson: $100
4-lesson plan: $95 per lesson ($380 total)
8-lesson plan: $90 per lesson ($720 total)
12-lesson plan: $85 per lesson ($1,020 total)

The more lessons you book, the lower the per-lesson cost. Most serious students choose 60-minute lessons and a package plan because they get better continuity, better value, and faster progress.
If you’ve had lessons before, you may have learned how to play a song. Here, you will learn how to play music—how songs work, how to understand melody and harmony, and how to compose, improvise, arrange, and make music your own.
Most lessons teach you how to sound like someone else. Here, you’ll learn how to find your own sound.
Studio openings are limited. New students begin with an introductory session to make sure the fit is right.
